  • I was responsible for managing the paperwork and registration of customers and guests, organising them into teams and ensuring the teams were prepared and informed on the days activities.

  • I spoke confidently to the general public and guests of the company, regularly addressing large groups via microphone and explaining and helping them throughout the day.

  • I was responsible for counting up scores for the teams, allowing me to utilise and develop further maths skills.

  • I was responsible for sorting and maintaining the organisation of the equipment in the store room, warehouse and company vehicles.

  • I not only edited this book but I also illustrated it from cover to blurb.

  • The book, The Angry Buffalo, is available from Amazon.

Set Up Crew for a Post Office Conference with Linney (25/02/2019- 27/02/2019)

  • This job entailed travelling to and working in Belfast, where I set up and organised screens and equipment for a Post Office Conference at Corrs Corner Hotel.

  • This job was rather insightful for how events for large corporations work, and I had to be very professional whilst completing my work.

  • I had to follow strict health and safety regulations, as I was setting up heavy equipment and needed to ensure that the safety of myself, my colleague, and our clients from the Post Office wouldn't face any hazards.

Student Coordinator at Primus Place and Primus Edge (March 2020- April 2020)

  • Being a student coordinator entailed monitoring and tracking the social and essential areas within the Primus accommodation buildings.

  • I received training on handling issues with tenants, health and safety, fire training and general upkeep of the building.

  • Being a student coordinator meant that I had to be capable with handling paperwork, having the responsibility of filling out forms, submitting tenant queries to individuals above me, and cleaning the bins and social areas during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Independent and Self Published Poet - OUTGROWN: A Poetry Collection (April 2021)

  • Whilst working towards my Masters Degree Qualification I self published a poetry collection.

  • I wrote the content, contacted artists to illustrate the pieces, formatted and designed the book, and promoted and advertised it myself.

  • The book, OUTGROWN: A Poetry Collection, is available from Amazon

  • I also did an interview regarding this book with Merryn, which can be found here.

  • I also attended the States of Independence book festival 2022 to join a panel on which I discussed my publishing process and gave advice to writers interested in self publishing.
